Former Real Madrid player offers himself to Barcelona

Barcelona have been looking to enforce their attacking powers by adding more force to their squad. The Blaguarana have been enjoying a good season so far, sitting on top of the La Liga table and also qualifying fort he Champions League round of 16 as Group Leaders. However, their desire to enforce the squad remains keen.

Since the departure of Neymar, Barca have added Ousmane Dembele and Philip Coutinho to their squad. Former Real Madrid player Di Maria was also linked with Barca last summer but a move for the Argentine did not happen.

Former Real Madrid player Mesut Ozil has also been linked with a move to the Catalan Club but he decided to stay at Arsenal and help the gunners in their new phase after the departure of Arsene Wenger.

Barcelona who are without any proper replacement for Luis Suarez are also looking for someone to fill in the shoes of the Uruguyan, who hasn’t been at his lethal best during the season.

Now, according to RAC 1, former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has offered himself to Barcelona as he looks for more playing time.

Morata moved to Chelsea from Real Madrid last summer and the Spaniard hasn’t enjoyed a lot of playing time at the London club. Morata also faced an ex from the World Cup squad due to an unimpressive show and a lack of playing time.

In search of regular play time, Morata has offered himself to Barcelona who are also looking for a long term replacement for their star striker Luis Suarez.

Morata had 2 good years at Juventus before coming back to Real Madrid. However, his return did not go as he would have expected and just 1 year later, Morata moved to London to sign for English club Chelsea.

Just in his second season in West London, Morata is not getting enough play time so the player has decided to look for options and this might end up to be his last season at the English club.
