Zlatan Ibrahimovic is renowned for scoring spectacular goals. The Swede made his MLS debut by scoring a stunning goal from almost the half way mark and scored a winner late in the match to win the derby for his side. The former Sweden International has now put up a challenge in front of Cristiano.

Ronaldo starred in his side’s 0-3 win against Juventus and scored a spectacular overhead kick in the process. The goal received praise from all around the globe and also Juventus fans who stood up to applaud Cristiano.

From Juventus Manager Allegri to Juventus Captain Buffon, everyone was full of praise for Cristiano. The goal even got attention from Lebron James who posted on his IG saying: That’s just not even fair. Nasty.

This was Ronaldo’s first overhead goal kick for Real Madrid while the Portuguese has tried it on numerous occasions before but to no vain. However, luck was on his side as his effort found its way past Buffon to mark a special goal for the history books.

Ronaldo’s goal goes down as one of the best goals in the history of Champions League and the Portuguese is the front runner for the Puskas Award. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic hands over a new challenge to Cristiano.

Talking to ESPN FC about Ronaldo’s goal, Ibrahimovic said:

“I think Ronaldo is a goal-scoring machine, he scored a beautiful goal, but he should try an overhead kick from 40 yards and see if it goes in.”

Zlatan refered to his goal against England in which he scored an overhead kick from outside the box and challenged the Portuguese to try a 40 yard overhead kick. Over to you Cristiano.
