Liverpool defender Alexander-Arnold talks about Ronaldo’s weaknesses

The hottest talk in the town these days is the upcoming Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool. Liverpool look keen to end Real Madrid’s European dominance while on the other hand Real Madrid want to stamp their authority as the most powerful club in Europe by winning three Champions League titles in a row.

The 19 year old will have a tough time as he will be given the duty to mark none other than Cristiano Ronaldo who has been in prolific goal scoring form this season in the Champions League.

Cristiano has racked up 15 goals in the Champions League this season and he will be looking to add up to his tally. Liverpool’s right back Alexander Arnold talks about facing Cristiano Ronaldo in the UCL Final and admits its his biggest challenge.

“Yes, it will be my biggest challenge. Ronaldo is one of the best players I have seen, has done incredible things, and on Saturday we will try to prevent him from doing what he does best,” said Arnold. (via MARCA)

Arnold also talked about Cristiano’s weaknesses as he aims to exploit his weaknesses to keep him quiet in the Final.

“Ronaldo also has weaknesses, like everyone else. I don’t know what those weaknesses are because I haven’t studied them yet, but in the next few days I will watch many videos of him to see how we can cope better,” said Arnold. (as quoted by Spanish Website MARCA)

However, Arnold insisted that Real Madrid are more than only Cristiano Ronaldo as they also have strong players on the bench.

“Real Madrid don’t only depend on one player either, they have many other threats and are a spectacular team. Any player who comes off of the bench is world class, so it will be very hard for us,” concluded Arnold. (as reported by MARCA)
