Cristiano Ronaldo reveals if he wants to stay or leave Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Real Madrid has been the most red hot topic discussed in the January transfer window. There are some rumors linking the Portuguese with a swap deal with Paris Saint Germain’s Neymar while English papers have been linking Cristiano with a sensational return to his boy hood club Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo has not been in the best of forms at Real Madrid this season and the Portuguese is struggling to find his scoring feet.

Real Madrid have realistically lost La Liga and they were dumped out of the Copa Del Rey in midweek by Leganes. However, Ronaldo believes Madrid can still turn this season into a successful one.

“We can turn this season around by winning the Champions League. If we win the Champions League then this season can be termed as a successful season.”

Ronaldo also insisted his desire to keep playing for long as he said:

‘I plan to retire at 41 but now, my plan to retire at 41 will probably be a bit more difficult to achieve, and now we live in the moment.’

‘Being a coach is not part of my plan, but you also know that people change their minds. For the moment I don’t want to be a coach.’

Cristiano also talked about his future at Real Madrid as he has been linked with a number of moves away from the Spanish Giant. The Portuguese said:

‘I want to stay here, I love this club. I like living here. I’ve lived in this city since 2009 and I love the weather and the people.’

‘It’s close to Portugal and you can get there by car. Spain is a great country, I love it.’
