Real Madrid ready to make €106 Million deadline day transfer

Real Madrid have spent the January transfer window rather quietly but they are in for a special treat on the deadline day. The January transfer window has already seen some sensational moves with Virgil Van Dijk becoming the most expensive transfer for a defender and Man United grabbing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

Coutinho moved to Barcelona in a much anticipated transfer and now Aubameyang is on the verge of signing for Arsenal.

However, after being quite for the most part of the transfer window, Real Madrid have finally decided to splash the cash. Struggling in La Liga and having crashed out of the Copa Del Rey, the Real Madrid management has realized its time to bring a new face to the club.

According to Argentine Journalist Leandro Montoya, Real Madrid are on the verge of signing Inter Milan Captain Mauro Icardi for €106 Million.

Montoya revealed:

“Mauro Icardi travels to Madrid at the moment to seal the move with Real. An express offer of 106M € + Kovacic return would have convinced the leadership nerazzurra to let go of his maximum gunner in the absence of just 2 days to close the market passes.”

Moreover, Icardi also posted a message on his Instagram account saying: “growing up means being able to say goodbye” with many believing that the Inter Captain is set for a new journey and he’s bidding farewell to Italy.

Icardi will be a great signing for Real Madrid who are struggling to find their feat in the League with Benzema totally out of sorts this season.
