David Beckham’s Miami based Franchise is set to launch into action in 2020 but the Englishman has already started the search of marketable superstars for his franchise. Beckham’s side would be the 25th MLS Franchise and the former England Captain aims to make his Miami side the best franchise in MLS.
Florida City is eagerly waiting for Beckham’s Franchise and the search for new superstars has started two years in advance.
The arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to MLS has prompted Beckham to get in contact with the top football stars around. According to English Website, The Mirror, Beckham has set his sights on bringing Carlo Ancelotti to the MLS for managing his Miami based Franchise.
Beckham had a short stint under Ancelotti when playing for Paris Saint Germain in 2013 and it is believed that Beckham has already talked to the Italian about the prospect of working in MLS.
Other than that, Beckham has brought two big names forward as the top targets for his MLS side. Beckham has his eyes set on Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney to play in his Miami side.
Rooney has expressed his desire to end his career in the United States and Beckham would be looking to urge the Englishman to United States.
One more big name on Beckham’s radar is none other than Real Madrid’s all-time leading goal scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is having a stunning season with Real Madrid with 37 goals in 35 games and he is contracted with Madrid until 2021.
However, the Portuguese has also expressed his intention to play in MLS at some stage of his career and Beckham surely has his eyes set on the Portuguese to make his mind up.
