Ronaldo’s and Messi’s former teammate shows a big difference between the two best players of the world

The Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi debate will never come to an end. The duo has lit up the stage of World Football with their phenomenal talent having shared all 10 out of the last 10 Ballon d’Ors between themselves. We’ll see this season who will become the first player to clinch it for the sixth time.

Ronaldo hasn’t started the season pretty well but on the contrary, Leo Messi has had a flying start to the 2017-18 campaign.

Leo Messi’s Barcelona is still active in all three competitions while Ronaldo’s Madrid is out of the Spanish Cup, struggling in La Liga and the Champions League is the only competition which they hope to win.

Messi’s former national teammate and Ronaldo’s former club teammate Carlos Tevez spoke to ESPN Argentina in an interview and the Argentine discussed the two superstars.

Tevez is one of the very few players who’ve had the honor of playing with both Ronaldo and Messi. Speaking of the two superstars, Tevez pointed out the big difference in the duo.

‘When Leo was starting out, he didn’t touch a gym. But Cristiano was there in the morning, afternoon and evening, all the time.’

‘Cristiano had to work and prepare himself to be the best, while for Leo it comes naturally. Those are the greatest differences that I see between the two best players on the planet.’

Tevez feels that Ronaldo’s hardwork and struggle has brought him up to the top level while Leo Messi had the natural talent and he didn’t have to work hard to reach the top level. Do you agree with Tevez?
