The Spanish National team is mostly Real Madrid dominated as Captain Sergio Ramos is joined by Dani Carvajal, Isco, Lucas Vasquez and Marco Asensio for the National team. As Spain prepares to take on World Champions Germany, Toni Kroos believes it’s a good chance to come against his own club teammates.
Kroos will come up against his Real Madrid teammates tomorrow in Dusseldorf as the two teams prepare to gear up for the FIFA World Cup.
Although Spain has lost a number of key players in their side, Toni Kroos still believes that the La Rojas have a lot to offer.
“I believe that Spain are once again a top level side and are clearly one of the World Cup favourites.”
“Their style has changed a little because of the change of players, particularly in attack, but the essence remains the same.”
Spain disappointed in the World Cup 2014 and Euro 2016 but Toni Kroos is not taking them for granted and believes that the Spanish National team is still a top side.
Kroos also expressed his happiness that Real Madrid players are the backbone of Spanish Team but he left a salty message for his club teammates.
“If you look at the last few years that we’ve had at Real Madrid, it is clear that we wouldn’t play any bad players.”
“I think that it is right that there’s a Real Madrid backbone in the team.”
“I’m happy for Sergio Ramos and everyone else, but I can’t wish them luck for Friday night or for the World Cup.”
No let offs from Toni Kroos. National team is his first priority and so it should be. There’s nothing more important than wearing your national colours on.
