Zidane comments on his Real Madrid future

Real Madrid face Las Palmas tonight in which promises to be a tricky fixture for Los Blancos. Las Palmas have struggled in the league but Real Madrid have had their fair share of struggles against weaker teams as they have dropped a number of points in the league which now sees them placed third well behind Barcelona.

Ahead of the team’s game against Las Palmas, Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane talked to the press about the game and insisted that they don’t need to under estimate Las Palmas.

“We have to try to win, as always. We know that Las Palmas are having a difficult season, but they are capable of putting in a big performance, and that says a lot about their team.”

Zidane also insisted that his team is not focusing on Juventus game right now but they have it in the back of their minds.

“After the international break, we have to think about our job tomorrow. The players played important matches and now we are going to Las Palmas excited about the game.”

“We’re not thinking about Tuesday’s Champions League match. Of course we have the game in Turin in our heads, but to prepare for it we have to do well tomorrow”.

Zidane was asked about his future at Real Madrid which some consider in doubt after Real Madrid crashed out of Copa Del Rey and have had a horrible league season.

However, Zidane insisted that he wants to stay at the club.

“I would like to continue at Real Madrid next season. I like football and what I do, and I would like to continue. But we already know what football is like.”

“My idea is to continue as long as possible but here everyone depends on results. It’s a club with high demands so I know where I am.”
