Zidane shuts up the Reporter when asked about Isco’s lack of play time

Real Madrid face Levante away tomorrow and they’ll be looking to drop no further points as they already trail leaders Barcelona by 19 points. The Spanish Champions currently sit fourth on the La Liga table and they would be looking to get together and climb up the Liga standings at least a step or two.

Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane talked to the press ahead of his side’s game against Levante. The Madrid manager emphasized that now, the team needs to stick together as the important part of the season arrives.

“It’s time to get to work. In my first year we had three weeks to work and we did very well, we improved a lot. Now we have to do the same; strength, resistance.”

“We are all together at a difficult moment. I have always noticed that my players are concentrated and get stuck in, and I trust my staff, blindly. What I have here is already is my workforce.”

One of the Reporters pointed out the lack of playing time for Isco who was very much in the plans of Zidane at the start of the season but the Spaniard did not get enough playing time recently. However, Zidane gave a fiery reply to the reporter:

“Isco is an important player.”

“Today you’re asking about Isco, tomorrow will be Marco Asensio, and then the next day it will be why isn’t Ceballos playing more? You always talk about that but I just get on with choosing my team.”
